About Justin Lam

I’ve had a fascination for photography ever since I can remember. From my family photographs it seems that I have had a camera in my hands from a very young age. I would never have imagined that decades later I would be holding a camera and documenting precious memories for brides and grooms on some of the biggest days in their lives. I started my real glimpse of the world of photography in high school where I spent countless hours in the darkroom. To be honest, I thought photography was a great way to skip out on regular school hours, but I found myself drawn to the craft. Photography turned out to be a class that I quite enjoyed and I often found myself in the darkroom after school exploring the world of black and white photography. Lots of things have changed in the world of photography, one thing that hasn’t changed is my commitment to making great photos at the moment I press that shutter. I don’t believe in having to correct things later and I still believe that Photoshop is meant to enhance your photo, not make your photo. In my spare time, I enjoy good food, art, culture and socializing. Because of my love for life and the world around us, I connect with my clients on many different levels. When you see my photos you will see pure raw emotions because I connect with my clients and I let them connect with people around them. I truly believe in maintaining a long term relationship with the people that I meet. I want to be your wedding photographer as well as your family photographer. When you walk through our door with your family I want you to feel at home. I love watching families grow and it gives me great joy and pleasure to be a part of your family’s history. I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you my passion for photography and my excitement about being a part of your wedding day!

Mel Bday with Family | Vegetarian food

June 18th, 2011

To celebrate her bday this year, Mel decided to have her family dinner at Po Kong on Kingsway and Knight. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, but the food was pretty decent. Vegetarian restaurants in general I find too greasy as they try to make eating veggies more appealing. The dishes we ordered were actually not bad. So if you are looking for a change from the everyday and wanna try out a vegetarian place. This one is worth a go.

At The Night Market

June 11th, 2011

My good buddy Kevin came back to visit this week and it was a blast. Getting workouts in, having lunches and just hanging around wad a great way to spend some time.

Last night we capped off his week long trip by watchibg the canucks win game 5 and then heading down to the night market to eat ourselves silly.

What a fabulous night. Kevin even tried to take down a turkey leg. I think he managed to do it too… nuts!
